"4 Steps to Success" - Gym Introduction

Step 1
Welcome to your new gym! The first session covers a selection of basic "bench marking" assessments so that we can establish your starting point. The maximum workout session is 20 minutes for beginners and can be longer for experienced exercisers.

Step 2 & 3
An easy to follow programme is compiled during both these sessions. One covers the cardiovascular part of the programme and the other covers the resistance and core training part of the programme. Both areas are essential to gain a balanced training plan. Workout time will depend on your current fitness level.

Step 4
To review you and your programme! This session repeats the bench marking assessments to see how much you have improved and is pre booked for approximately 6 -8 weeks after your initial visit!

"Beyond the four steps"

Variety is the spice of life and we all know that following the same gym programme indefinitely is far from stimulating. At The Windsor Club we want you to get the most out of the facilities, so we also offer the following services alongside the 4 steps;

Ongoing Programme Reviews

Most members complete a gym programme devised by an Fitness Advisor upon each visit and this programme needs amending approximately every 4-8 weeks. Ongoing programme reviews enable Fitness Advisors to "tweak", rewrite or add new and interesting exercises to your programme, which helps you make continued improvements to your fitness and strength. Bookings are made through our contact system and in house diary system.

Ongoing Gym Initiatives...

We put on monthly gym motivational activities for all to participate in and our instructors are always on hand to offer advice and support.  We also produce monthly handouts which offer practical tips on a wide range of topics for members to take home or try while in the club under the guidance of the instructors. It's certainly not boring in our gym!

Personal Training

Our highly qualified team of Personal Trainers are available to oversee your training on a one to one basis in a "macro" way and the trainer actually trains you on each visit. This way of training is excellent for those who find their self discipline waivers or who are really interested in learning how to train in a very detailed way.  Please ask any Fitness Advisor about personal training here at The Windsor Club. Additional costs are applicable.
